Ka-chow. The Scentsy x Disney and Pixar Cars collection goes live Monday, August 3, 2026 at 1 p.m. ET — that is noon here in East Texas, so set a reminder if you want first crack at it.
This one is small but mighty: three pieces, all built around a brand-new fragrance called Radiator Springs.
What is in the Cars collection
- Lightning McQueen Scentsy Buddy — $45. About 12 inches long, and he arrives with a Radiator Springs Scent Pak already tucked inside, so he is ready to go the minute you open the box.
- Cars: Radiator Springs Scentsy Bar — $7. Standard bar, for anyone who wants the scent in a warmer instead of a Buddy.
- Cars: Radiator Springs Scent Pak — $8. A refill for the Buddy, or a drop-in for a drawer, gym bag, or the car itself.
What Radiator Springs actually smells like
The notes are energized lemon, pink grapefruit, red cherry, and sweet sugar. In plain English: sour lemon candy and old-fashioned cherry soda, with grapefruit and a dusting of sugar over the top.
If your kid likes anything cherry, this is going to be a hit. It reads more candy-counter than fruit-basket, which is exactly right for a movie about a roadside town on Route 66. It is also a nice break from the heavy fall scents that are about to take over everybody’s warmers.
My honest take on the Buddy
Buddies are the Scentsy product I get the most repeat orders for, and it is almost never the grown-up collector buying them — it is grandparents, birthday parties, and the “we need one gift that will actually get played with” crowd. A 12-inch Lightning McQueen that also makes a bedroom smell good is an easy win, and at $45 it lands in the same range as a decent plush toy that does nothing.
One thing worth knowing: licensed Scentsy collections are produced in limited quantities and are not restocked once they sell through. The Disney drops in particular have a habit of disappearing in the first couple of days. If Lightning McQueen is on your list for a birthday in September or a Christmas stocking, buying him in August is the safer plan.
How to shop it
Starting Monday at noon Central, the collection will be on my Scentsy site: shellie.scentsy.us. If it sells out before you get there, message me — I keep an eye on restock news and can tell you straight whether something is genuinely coming back or gone for good.
